Earlier this season the Chargers we’re holding on to a slim lead over the Rams

Vicky was besides herself

San Diego had the ball with a chance to run out the clock but could not convert on third down

Their special team unit gave up a long punt return and the Rams were instantly in field goal range

One first down later and she was hoping that at least they could hold them to a game tying field goal

It was 1st and goal on the six and after a 2 yard run made it was 2nd and goal from the 4

San Diego called a time out as the Rams needed just 4 yards to take the lead and had 3 plays to get them

Then in a blink of an eye the St Louis QB threw an interception on the goal line

Just like that the game was over

I remember saying out loud “I didn’t see that one coming”

It looked like the game was over as St Louis was rolling down the field

Flash forward a couple months and it was Déjà vu all over again

Seattle fans were shocked

Patriot fans went bonkers

I had the 2nd Half OVER and needed that dreaded half point

They teased me (and tons of other prop players) with the “almost safety” at the end

Then just like that, the game was over

Later that night while the guys played poker and the girls soaked in the hot tub

I thought to myself…didn’t see that one coming

Neither did Sloppy and Aaron
