Sports Betting Summertime Edition

Author: 2nd Half Chas

Summer time is the best

That’s even coming from a guy that’s a big time San Diego weather pattern homer

When Alex reads…The average temperature here is a balmy 72 degrees

You simply respond…What is San Diego?

Be reminded that fall and spring aren’t that tough to handle in America’s finest city

Our severe drought has even eliminated what was the only real evidence that we even have Winter

Starting soon the Pacific will be just perfect for body surfing

Of course South Mission’s parking lot will be full of Arizona license plates

That adds a little walk to the trip but there’s no way you are hearing any complaints

Summer really is great except for one minor little detail

There ain’t no football

You’ve heard me and Johnny D talk about it on the show

When you’re as much of a football fan as a sports fan

It’s tough to make it through the next few months waiting on another season

The Inner Circle will meet up again on the 1st Saturday in May for that thing we do each year

This Run for the Roses may actually be coming live from Del Mar

Ponies are a special treat for me but they are not football

NBA & NHL Playoffs offer some opportunities for wagering

Especially if you have time to do the research since the playoff format can change everything

We’ve had some great Memorial Days betting the big race and NBA Finals from hotels in Palm Springs

That’s about it

Baseball to me is like golf

Too long

I believe in a 13 hole course with an incredible bar overlooking the final green

Five innings is about how long MLB can really hold my attention

That works well for 1st Five Inning bets but they won’t let you parlay those on my site

Not enough desire there for me to look around

Fourth of July week is usually a reminder of just how far away you are from real football

Yet they’re talking about it on the airwaves so that helps a little

Labor Day is a wonderful gift to mark the end of Summer

Sports Betting fans like it for another reason as well
